Highway of Tears: A True Story of Racism, Indifference and the Pursuit of Justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls by Jessica McDiarmid

5.0

4.5* this book is powerful and very well written. I appreciate the amount of information the author compiled and can recommend the audiobook’s delivery of that information. If you’ve been living under a rock or haven’t been tuned into the en mass massacre of indigenous girls/women this will firmly drop you in and give you all the details. It will be devastating. It will not make you feel good about the lack of care given to these missing and murdered girls. I will continue to elevate indigenous voices and activism that hopes to bring closure to the families of the women lost.
