Scoring Chance by Teagan Hunter

5.0

This is such a fun book, with great character development and an easy flow that just sucks you in. After Grady Miller failed to recognize Scout when she showed up at a team party away from her donut food truck, Scout is extremely upset and vows to ignore Grady even though she's had a massive crush on him forever! When Miller realizes how much he hurt Scout, he vows to make it up to her and for them to become friends. Over the slow burn of this story, Scout and Grady's friendship grows and eventually blooms into more. The biggest problem, Miller is a virgin and the more he thinks about losing his V-card, the bigger an issue it seems to become, but Scout is patient and has realized that being with Grady has opened up her creative writing side and a novel is flowing out of her. When Grady sees the novel on Scout's laptop, it becomes apparent that this novel is not what he thought and a huge fight ensues. Grady thinks Scout is using him as writing fodder and that she is not ready to commit to a relationship or love because of past boyfriends. Can Scout prove to Grady that's she is ready and that she's all in?
Love this series and this author.
