This book is definitely worth the read. It is one I know I’m going to stay thinking about long after I’ve now finished it. While I did very much enjoy this book, it did take a few chapters to really get into it. Told by an unreliable narrator with an extremely extensive and masterful use of vocabulary, her method of speech takes a moment to get used to. That’s not to discount it, her method of speech really made the book and brought it together quite nicely, it’s just not something I feel many people are commonly exposed and naturally acclimated to going in.
