I can understand why people love this book. However, I felt it was a bit dragged out, more so in the beginning. That being said I did enjoy it for the most part and the ending was particularly good.
Also, this book does highlight particularly well the saying “be careful what you wish for” in a unique way and Schwab really does make a beautiful story surrounding this concept.
The characters are likeable yet complex and their flaws add depth to their relationships to one another.
Overall, I think this book is slightly overhyped but that being said it’s still worth reading if you’re interested in a bit of fantasy, love and a good ending.
