I was really excited to read this one and the blurb and the beginning of the story really intrigued me. But I was not a fan of how fast their relationship progressed I thought it was weird. They both liked to joke a lot which is good to have but everything was a joke to the point I didn’t take Beck seriously when it came to his feelings and emotions. He didn’t seems genuine to me he was very one dimensional. He said he wasn’t with Alice for rebellion for what hid dad did with Selah but that’s exactly what it felt like to me. I liked Alice she was a strong likable and relatable character But Beck was severely lacking. I love a good slow burn romance but this one was just agonizing and honestly I didn’t feel the romance at all.
