Rick left San Diego after the murder of his wife Colleen and his dismissal from the SD police force. He went to La Jolla to the only friend he had left, Turk. Turk owned a restaurant and Rick became it's manager. One fateful night Melody came to the open bar inside and after having a heated discussion with a man, Rick coming to her aid began on a journey of corrupt cops, prostitution, betrayal and murder.
Rick must decide if the items that he has discovered will be used for his freedom, to expose those on the force that need exposing, or will he use it for revenge.
