On His Six by Patricia D. Eddy

4.0

Patricia D. Eddy has become one of those author that I just can't wait to see what she will come up next. Being the third book in the Away from the Keyboard series I got a pretty good idea of what was in store for me. I was not disappointed.

Here we have a romance full of action, bad guys vs good guys, and don't forget the mystery and suspense that goes along with all of that. There's no way this story could be a slow paced one, and it's not, so be ready because you will enjoy a wild ride.

Ryker and Wren are a fantastic couple just because they have so many things that make them different, and on top of that they complement each other in ways that are, at times, incredible. I love them for their strengths but mostly because of their weaknesses, since that made them human and relatable in my eyes.

The plot of the story revolves around a mystery murder turned rescue mission. The flow of the book was great, no problem what so ever even with the fast-paced that a suspense novel needs to keep the reader at the edge of their sit.

Like I mentioned before, the book is the third in a series. It can be read as a standalone but the worldbuilding was done in a great way.

I would recommend this book if you like suspense romances and some sexiness mixed with it *wink*

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book provided by Hidden Gems.
