Just like a Ferrari clinching its first P1-2 of the season, DMC made my day a winner. I thought, what better way to celebrate than diving into an F1 romance? And wow, did it deliver! It’s like the book and the race were in perfect sync, making me wonder why I hadn’t read it sooner. Sometimes, the right book comes at the right lap time. 😮‍💨

The McAllister F1 team in the book is a mirror image of the real-life Scuderia Ferrari, with all its glory and high-speed drama. Ella, a relationship kind of girl, finds herself writing the biography of Blake, a driver known for his casual flings and a reputation that’s skidded off track. Their dynamic is a cocktail of Swiftie references—clearly, someone’s a fan—and a slow burn romance that’s as spicy as a track day. The tension between them is a dance of push and pull, filled with humor and a mutual pining that’s deliciously torturous.

The side characters deserve a podium of their own, but it’s Blake who takes the trophy, becoming Ella’s biggest fan and dream supporter. Despite the bumps on the track, they navigate to a satisfying finish. For those new to the F1 romance genre, DMC is the perfect starting line. It’s got the adrenaline, the laughs, and the heart—everything you’d want from a rom-com with a high-octane twist. 🏁

KING DONG! 💪🏻💪🏻
