The Belting Inheritance by Julian Symons

4.0

This books is both a mystery and the depiction of a historical period, the one after WWII.
It's a gentle, gripping and fascinating book, full of interesting characters both eccentric and quirky.
I loved the cast of characters, well written and fascinating as much as I loved the depiction of the historical time frame.
The pace was gentle but engripping, it keeps you guessing and it keeps you hooked till the last page.
A good addiction to the British Library Crime Classics.
