Did not finish book.
i’m so sad. i dnf’ed at around 20% - 114 pages in.
so many words… yet absolutely nothing happened. i felt it was extremely slow going. it was too slow going to the point where i just couldn’t anymore. i couldn’t even tell you what happened in those 114 pages besides drinking, a sprinkle of julian & glass in camilas foot.
the writing is good but just not good enough for me to continue on.
i had really high hopes for this due to the fact it had such high ratings and was described as a pleasure to read & got recommended SO many times on tiktok.
even though it starts with a murder it just didn’t grip me enough within the first 2/3 chapters for me AHH IM SO SAD ABOUT THIS.
