Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore

4.0

I really enjoyed this book. I think I would've liked it even more had I been raised Christian - not the crazy heathen household where my biblical teachings were limited to when I read through the "Bible in pictures!" a born-again second cousin sent as a baptism present. God bless my mother, who agreed that it was a "terrifying story - well, it's not make believe EXACTLY, but we don't know who wrote it" about Abraham and almost killing his son. Mom was the original fact-checker in the house.

Either way, Levi who is called Biff is totally an awesome dude. Good book. Reminds me of Vonnegut.
