Richer Than Sin by Meghan March

I really struggled to find anyone in this book compelling.
I love forbidden romances but I think the back and forth between present day and the past made it really difficult to follow. Also the random “cliffhanger”. I found that to be really annoying because it’s obviously just a misunderstanding.
Whitney cries too much. She was married to a famous rockstar for ten years and you’re telling me she never figured out how to save her own money or hire her own security. She wasn’t a child when she ran off she was in her twenties.
Lincoln I liked. But his overall character was “I want Whitney”. There was very little depth to him in my opinion.
Overall I think it’s a fine series if you’re looking for a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet but there are also probably much better ones out there.
