Waypoints: My Scottish Journey by Sam Heughan

4.0

Sam decided to trek the 96 miles of the West Highland Way during a week's break. This book tells about his journey and it's interspersed with stories from his life and acting career. I loved listening to Sam read this but often times there wasn't enough of a pause in the narration to indicate that we were switching between past and present. Sometimes I'd be a little lost for a few moments until I realized we had switched. The print book had page breaks and symbols to indicate this. A bonus of the audio version was that at the end of each day we also got to hear a voice memo he had recorded about the journey. I also borrowed the Kindle version so I could look at all the pictures at the end; he had some early pics along with his acting career and the hike.
