This is my first memoir and I really loved it.
I love her honesty. She speaks the truth about her family but she also seems 100 % authentic about herself too. I think that's why I loved it so much. I makes her real. Human.
Nobody's perfect but anybody has the power to make the changes it takes to turn their life around but only if they're willing to do it in the first place. Nobody can do that work for you.
She didn't use her sick mother or her (pretty bad) childhood as an excuse for her alcoolism or bulimia and for that, she has all my respect. ♡
