I was looking for more "Howl's Moving Castle-like" recs and found this one from a list of "Howl's -like Books" found via The Story Graph.
Got this book as a palate cleanser because the 2nd Howl's book wasn't to my taste, and wow four chapters in I loved it. Fast paced, no info dump, no over-complicated magical system explanation. I like the sassy, funny heroine and the no-no sense plot. I had a great time reading this without my mood going up and down. Bonus point: no "I love him/maybe I don't" romance nor love triangle! 🌟 Oh, and no second-hand embarrassment from the heroine, which is way too often the case in romance novels with "humor".
