Meet Me in the Margins by Melissa Ferguson

4.0

As a book nerd and reader, I will forever be attracted to fiction books that have books on the cover.

Meet Me in the Margins by Melissa Ferguson captured my heart immediately. I saw the cover and I didn’t have to read the synopsis to know I wanted to read this book.

Savanna is an aspiring romance author, however, she herself has very limited experience in romance herself. Crafted a great hook for a new novel, but her manuscript fell short and was rejected. Someone, at her work, started editing her manuscript and she hasn’t a clue who this person is yet.

Through, post it notes back and forth on her manuscript with the unknown editor, they begin to share personal life stories and Savanna’s heart blossoms.

She hopes her mystery editor be one person, but fears that it is another.

Will they ever meet outside the margins to determine if they have chemistry in person?

This was a fast paced work place meet cute trope. I enjoyed the banter between the characters and it was filled with colorful scenes. Plus we are in the book industry and it was funny hearing about the eccentric authors and how much the editors must go through to ensure they have the best time always.
