Dance of Thieves by Mary E. Pearson
5.0
woo!! i just finished reading this duology and oh my god this blew my mind. i also just found out that there was a whole other series, and this is a spin off of it so i will be picking those up soon. but i loved this book. dance of thieves focuses on two people, kazi and jase, two individuals with such different backgrounds, yet something about the other is so familiar and draws them in.
even if i'd never read the series before, it was very easy to follow and be drawn into this world that mary e. pearson created. i fell in love with both kazi and jase, the whole ballenger clan (yes, even gunner!) and wren and synové were so well created. the second book shows more of them so i would definitely recommend checking it out. but dance of thieves drew me in from the first page. i fell in love with jase and kazi's love. this isn't a super steamy, spicy romance but it's just obvious that these two are made for each other. there's so much i want to say but you just have to read it!!!!
side note: lydia and nash have my whole heart
please go read vow of thieves !!
