Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer

adventurous challenging reflective sad slow-paced

3.0

The story of Chris McCandless is one worth knowing.

A young man who was set to live a comfortable modern (by mid 90s standards) life who gave it all away to live his own version of what life should be. His great Alaskan adventure was so close to being completed. Chris teaches valuable lessons about how to live: be kind to others, appreciate nature, and importantly call your parents.

Although overall I'm not a huge fan of this book. I don't particularly like Krakauer's writing or his organization of the story.
