Wow I love a near death experience in a book where the distant love interest saves them, also sometimes in books where the mc lies to the love interest I don’t really understand the motive but this time I absolutely do like 100%.
Also her getting justice at the end and how each of them brings something different to the relationship is an amazing dynamic.
Being truthful I got a bit teary eyed when riven shouted at her and she went out into the storm and the regret that he felt when he found out that she was filmed without her consent made me start to cry a bit and from Eli’s pov when he just kept on repeating that she was dead
