As with the rest of the series, this book was an absolutely wild ride. The pace was breakneck to the point where I reached the end and couldn’t remember what happened at the beginning. 
There was a great addition to the cast with Spike Furious, the narwhal creation. I thought she was great and I wanted more of her. There was also a really sweet romance between two side characters, Florence and Talon. 

Now that I’ve read through the Unwanteds books that I own, I plan to borrow the rest from the library once in a while.
