It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover
5.0
I picked this book up thinking it was your typical romance. I was wanting those falling in love butterflies, and all I got was red flags. (From the love interest.)
I will HOWEVER say that Hoover really did the relationship right. She showed how it isn’t so easy to walk away from someone you love. How you can doubt yourself and even put blame on yourself when in those situations. Props for that. I’ve been there, and it took me many many years to get out. To stop blaming myself. I felt like I could relate to this book in many ways (including naming my daughter Emersyn, after my late brother) and for that, five stars.
