I finished this a while ago, but couldn't really write anything.
I know each author decides how he or she treats her stories, but Veronica is quite harsh with her characters. Yes, I've read an interview in which she talks about Harry Potter and says that he. This should have given us a hint as to what to expect in this book. But yet, it was a shock.
My daughter, who was reading along with me, learned the spoiler before we reached the ending and refused to keep reading. So, I waited for a while for her to come to her senses and finish the book with me. When she finally said she wouldn't go on reading, I finished it on my own, feeling a bit depressed.
It feels a bit more rushed than the others, and not as well thought. I would have loved to see more development in this one, but that's it. We are done with this world.
