I'm not really sure what the point of this book was. It is a mildly interesting slice of life novella, but ultimately doesn't amount to much. It's mostly the chatterings of a man who feels he shouldn't have to work and doesn't get along with the women in his life. I guess I'm not enough of a contemporary lit person to "get" this.
