Fifty Shades Darker by E.L. James

3.0

Picking right up where 50 Shades of Grey left off Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship and is starting a new career with a Seattle publishing house. Christian and Ana are trying to work through their issues while Ana starts to stand up for herself making Christian begin to catch on maybe it is time that he should tone down his domineering ways. This book does contain some MILD elements of BDSM but I have read much darker romance novels since this one, it did not bother me when I first read the book and it still does not bother me today. I don’t think that the BDSM elements should scare anyone off of reading this book unless they are sensitive with personal triggers. We learn more about Christian’s past in book 2 of this trilogy and why he is the way he is. I found the book an entertaining read and I will continue on to the 3rd book in the series.
