Desperate to Touch by W. Winters

5.0

I know that whatever I say, will not be nearly enough to explain my love for this series and this couple, but I'm gonna try anyway.

At about 87% in I knew Willow was doing it to me again…. Darn cliffhanger. I should’ve known, I should’ve been prepared, maybe I just wanted to ignore the possibility I don’t know…

I recently said that Sebastian was my favourite in this world. I love that man more than I can express, but my goodness Seth…. This man has stolen my attention away. His connection with Laura is heartbreaking and yet addictive, and I can’t stop reading their story once I start.
Having been apart for years, Seth is hellbent on making Laura pay for what she did, while Laura just wants the guilt and pain to go away. It’s a second chance romance that has a whole lot of push and pull between our two main characters and trying to deny what they want, what they need.
We also get a glimpse into several of the other characters that exist in this world, like Bethany and the Cross brothers.

This book, as seems customary with Willow, will make you experience every emotion available. This book will make you laugh and smile one minute and want to tear your hair out crying the next. But if you can handle that, it’s totally worth giving it a chance.

Important to know;
This is book 2 in this series and as you can by reading my opening, there’s one more coming. So if you’re a reader that likes to wait until the whole series is out, you got a bit of a wait left ahead of you.
Also, while this series (all of Seth and Laura’s story) can be read as a standalone, it does make a lot more sense if you read all the other books in the world of the Cross brothers in order. Seth and Laura have their own delicious story, but there is an ongoing arc working it’s way through this world that is a lot easier to follow if you read everything in this world. Again not necessary, but it is my recommendation
