Bat Boy by Christina Lee

4.0

This was a quick and frankly adorable read about a college baseball player and the coaches son who works as a bat boy for the team. There wasn't an abundance of steam to speak of, but the book wasn't lacking either. I enjoyed the longing looks and blushes Brady and Kellan would trade on and off the field. It made it so much more sweet and Brady certainly was a cinnamon roll of a man. The major drama basically stemmed from their fear that coach, Kellan's dad, would find out about them and remove Kellan from working with the team. There was no big gay freak out really since Brady had already spent time questioning his sexuality, nor was there any homophobia which I was grateful for. This was exactly what the author said it was going to be: a cute and happy read.
