June 2019 // I enjoyed it. I'm kind of so-so about this series because it definitely isn't my favorite but I always enjoy reading Nora Roberts books. Sometimes I think my problem with this series is that I have trouble imagining what these characters look like and what this world is like. But that's okay. It's still a fun read.
May 2016 // I read some pretty awful reviews for this series as a whole but I don't think it's nearly as bad as everyone is saying. I agree that it's as good but I still think it's decent. I got into this second book a little faster than I did the first book and I'm definitely interested in how it all ends.
