The first Creature Feature. I love me some Joe Hill and I think I was in the wrong place in my life to read this story and fully enjoy it for what it is. This short story hits a little too close to home right now with me. It's darkness came from the past, present, and future in this story.
Please check trigger warnings before you read just in case (miscarriage, COVID, depression, possibly more I forgot).
However, that being said, I can fully appreciate how great this story is. It gave me a little bit of The Shining vibes towards the end. Spooky and great way to start off the Creature Feature experience.
