Overall I liked the story

The biggest issue I had with the book was it could have used some minor content editing. For example apparently Etta was once named Isla either that or they stole Isla's car to pick up drunk hockey players without actually introducing her as a character. And Betty's age was wonky. Noah took her to to her Junior Prom near the beginning of the book but at the end of the book she's getting ready to start her junior year of high school and still enjoys chasing fireflies with 10 year olds. Also let's explain why the girl who never breaks the rules can be served in a bar at age 20 without actually owning a fake id since by her own admission she doesn't break rules. There were quite a few little continuity errors like that which I'm sure a lot of readers wouldn't notice but its the type of little thing that drives me nuts. Grammar, punctuation and spelling were great, but it definitely needs content editing to weed out the small stuff like that.

I liked that the epilogue wasn't draft day or their wedding or the birth of their first child when there's a lot that comes between figuring out your first real relationship in college and an adult's married with the children. Also in not having that epilogue it breaks the stereotypical epilogue of the college athlete romance.

I would have liked more time with the characters as most readers would in a book they enjoyed but that's the point, overall I really enjoyed the story.
