Dancing on Broken Glass by Ka Hancock

4.0

To write of such challenges that are presented in this story, to capture the amount of heartbreak and struggle, while still showing a beautiful, loving relationship with enough happiness to keep me from drowning in sadness is a wonderful talent. The characters here were deep and complex, and I found myself caring about all of them, not just the main voice (Lucy) and her husband. The only thing keeping it from a five star rating is it was about some heavy topics, and that was a challenge for me even though I found myself unable to put the book down.
