Tell Me Three Things by Julie Buxbaum

lighthearted reflective slow-paced

3.0

three things i loved :
-the anonymous concept
-ethans character and his connection with jessie.
-the strong mourning her mom along the lines
" one of the worst parts about someone dying is thinking back to all those times you didn’t ask the right questions, all those times you stupidly assumed you’d have all the time in the world. "
three things i didn't like :
-the lack of backstory for sn. while i understand this was more of a jessie pov I'd have loved to see how he caught interest and all of that at first
-the overly dramatic struggles and excessive details. and also the friendships and female character felt flat.
-the rushed ending. it deserved at least an epilogue

tbh at first it was captivating and funny but the more you go in i feel like the story lost its charm and focused on the family drama than the cute enjoyable romance.
the fmc was kind of a drawback cause usually im kicking my feet here i dont wanna say disappointing but it didn't match what i expected it was just not that exciting and felt like something was lacking. still i give it 3 🌟 for the effort, the banter, and ethan cause poetry boy??? .
