I have been in a sports romance kick, and thank god this book exists.  This book deserves no less than 5 stars!!! Zee and Vee are one of my new favorite couples.  I usually don't care for the reformed player trope, but I was invested in and cared about these characters.  Zee... I would have a poster of him on my wall and I'm not even the type of person who does that lol.  He is one of the few MCs where I actually swooned and sighed every time he did something sweet for Vee.  I mean the scene where he points out all of her perfections in the mirror...  If I wasn't swooning, then I was wishing I could give him a hug.  Zee is one of the few characters where my heart was actually aching!!  I loved the relationship he was able to eventually develop with his dad.  Once again, MCs like Zee is why romance readers have unrealistic expectations!!!

And don't get me started on Vee.  I want to be friends with her, I want to look like her, and simply put I want to be her.  Vee was definitely someone I related to.  She was such a strong character, but also really insecure about a lot of things.  Especially her body.  But she's also someone who is able to come through for herself in the end.  I actually whooped when she told off the press because of the things they were saying about her!

I'm a huge fan of physical touches in a romance book, and this couple did not disappoint.  Zee was basically one big teddy bear and I ate that shit up!
