I have passed on this series a million times but I hit a dry spot and in desperate need of something spicy to read, I tried this. But Carmen is 100% accurate. This is very much in the vein of Christine Feehan and forced mating and a world where the heroine gets zero say in anything at all related to her life. It’s a nightmare scenario where a man comes in, kidnaps her, forces marriage, and dictates how everything will go for her from now on. They are not equals, which is the difference between this garbage and other Uber alphas like those in Suzanne Wright’s books.
