anya is such a little spitfire, i love how she shamelessly pursues stoic, jaded lucien.
this book felt a bit slower until we got the two other side plots following paris and danika, which really helped pick up the pacing (and intrigued me as to what's going to happen in their books). i also wouldn't mind seeing more of william, he was fun.
lots of travel in this one gave it more of an adventurous vibe than the previous book.
