Can this be read as a stand-alone: First in a series.
Re-readability: Yes.

This has been happening to me recently where I keep thinking the books are shorter than they actually are because I have so much fun reading them.

Draco is no different. I feel like the author really shines when she gets to write monsters being monsters with monster bodies, and quite frankly, I am here for all of that.

However, this one gets a four from me because I couldn't quite connect to the characters, but I found the story enjoyable, the spicy to be spicy, and I like the hints of the deeper world we're getting in it.  I will absolutely read the rest of this series as it comes out.
