Did not finish book. Stopped at 41%.

This was a re-read. I had no problem with reading it years ago. However, attempting to read this over ten years later was unbearable. During that time I have been exposed to more international perspectives. 

As a result, I could not get past the author's overall perspective that the United States is somehow a beacon of democracy and world peace; which is beyond laughable.
