I loved this book. It is dark and goofy and smart. I just love the pictures and the character's speech patterns come through so clearly in the writing. The world is fleshed out and interesting. I rushed to my local comic-book store to grab book 2.
I will say, without spoiling anything, it did not age well during the pandemic, so go into it with that mindset.

Graphic: Death, Violence, Blood, Vomit, and Cannibalism
Moderate: Gun violence and Police brutality
If you're really worried about reading something nasty in this series, it is in there. The premise revolves around cannibalism, and it goes down-hill from there. If that's not your thing, skip it.
