Supposedly I would like this because I loved the Sookie Stackhouse books. Not the case. Anita Blake is Sookie if she had 0 charm and also 0 depth (which is saying smg bc Sookie is not particularly deep or layered).
There were way too many side characters with generic male names, to the point that I could not remember the difference between Edward, Phillip, Aubrey, Winter, Dolph, Bert, etc.
The plot was both boring and confusing. I might try one more book in the series bc the plot of book 2 sounds really fun. It should probably get 1 star, but vampires and zombies are cute and fun so <3
