This book was very cute! A fluffy modern retelling of cinderella with a fangirl mc. There were quite a few cheesy moments, but it reminded me of reading fanfiction. I think this allowed the book to get away with some slightly cringey dialogue and still be enjoyable. With the story revolving around a fandom, a fanfiction-esque writing style actually works pretty well!
I am giving it a 4/5 because while I had fun reading it, I'd imagine someone who indentifies more with the main character Elle would get more from this story than I did. And that's okay! It was a sweet story and enjoyable for sure, despite me not being the target audience (a "geek").
Overall, it's an easy read if you're in the mood for some fluff!
