Empowering and infuriating. This book empowers women in STEM with the daring to try for their own sakes. It is also infuriating with just how much misogyny was present at the time, and can still be found today. This is a page turner for those looking for a heroine overcoming the obstacles others put in her way, and complex family histories.
Graphic: Emotional abuse, Misogyny, Sexism, Grief, and Gaslighting
Moderate: Body shaming, Bullying, Death, Domestic abuse, Suicide, Car accident, and Abandonment
Minor: Sexual content, Suicidal thoughts, Pregnancy, and War
