This is a perfectly good book for YA readers that love a bit of fantasy and romance.
I'd probably recommend it to younger or newer readers of the genre as it's an easy read with lots of adventure and twists but it was also pretty predictable at times too.
I enjoyed the characters and the story enough to consider reading the next in the series but I won't rush to get to it.
There are a lot of readers that love this book and rightly so, it just wasn't one of my favourites.
