I get it. I get the hype surrounding this series. This book has a little of everything: mystery, adventure, political intrigue, magic, and romance all set on a backdrop of Muslim mythology.
The prose is rich and immersive and just draws you in. The characters are complex and real and messy. I loved how messy all the relationships and feelings are throughout this book.
My only complaint is my own inability to understand the politics of this world but I think that will become clearer as I continue the story.
