One Piece, Vol. 13: It's All Right! by Eiichiro Oda

adventurous emotional funny fast-paced

5.0

Volume 13 continues the battle in Whisky Peak! I loved all the reveals in this volume, as we meet Miss Wednesday and Mr. 9 again - only to find out that she's Vivi,
the Princess of
Alabasta, the kingdom that Baroque Works wants to take over! I loved how her partner and Miss Monday defended her, even though she was a double agent. Their loyalty was still with her and not the company. There's more trouble though, as some higher-ranking agents get called in - Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine! I loved getting to know more about Baroque Works and I'm so excited to see more, as Luffy has agreed to help Vivi and her country. We also meet the vice president of Baroque Works - Miss All Sunday - and I'm so curious about her. She's supposed to be a big enemy, but it seems like she also helped Vivi at some point, so it's unclear where her loyalties really lie 👀

After leaving Whisky Peak, the crew travels to Little Garden, the next island that Miss All Sunday has clearly warned them about. It's a prehistoric, jungle-like island full of dinosaurs, which was so cool! It was so funny to see Nami and Usopp be scared and despairing at everyone else just running off toward danger 😂
