Holy shit this book was an emotional rollercoaster. I loved it, but will probably never read it again because it thoroughly broke me. I loved how all these random people were woven through Mateo's and Rufus's story. Like how we touch each other's lives in little ways that don't seem important to us, but mean everything to someone else. Idk I'm kinda rambling but the book was excellent and gut wrenchinglly sad but also beautiful at the same time. Don't read it if you're not in a good state of mind and keep a box of tissues handy
