Unfortunately the "fun" nods to the Bronte sisters' novels get even more heavy handed in the second book in this series. So much so that they ruin the mystery (not that it's hidden that much).
Although there were parts I enjoyed, I just can't keep on with a mystery series when the mysteries are so obviously pointed out to the reader repeatedly.
