The protagonist is understandably and purposefully flawed unlikable but, if you can get past this - the books has a wonderful message about power, fame, hope and humanity.
Content warning: A description ofgore/body horror from fire and building collapse is mentioned. The FMC lets the reader know when it is about to occur so that the reader can skip. I loved this inclusion of warning. I wasn’t aware this book had this type of content and was thrilled that I was given the choice to skip over it.
