Blown away by another guilty pleasure, easy Summer read! I finished this book in one sitting and it was a serious page turner. I always loved reading fanfiction on Wattpad and since this was a Wattpad original story I knew I had to pick it up.
17 year old Stella is willing to do anything for her twin Cara who is suffering from cancer, including waiting in line to get her favorite boyband signatures. Unfortunately, Stella can’t stand these boys until she gets to know one of them without knowing his identity. Her and her brother Drew become fast friends with the whole band throughout the course of one crazy, unforgettable night.
The story follows the inside of pressures of what it’s like to be a teenager and in the spotlight and I thought the development of Stella’s character throughout the book was outstanding! This book is for anyone craving a romantic, fun (though slightly unrealistic) storyline. The only thing that bothered me was that the parents seemed to be a little neglectful of their other two children, since the focus was on Cara and her illness. Though, the story was mainly about growing up and being independent so I suppose it wasn’t enough to knock a star off of my rating!
