📚 Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
WOW. Just wow. I read this with my heart in my throat the entire time. Every twist, every betrayal, every laugh—it all hit like a lightning strike in the middle of this storm (pun intended 😉).
Violet’s journey beyond the wards had me feeling ALL the emotions—wrath, sorrow, confusion, laughter, and everything in between. And can we talk about the lore? The way Yarros expanded the world-building in this one melted my world-building-loving heart into a puddle of dragon fire(I know it doesn't make sense but idc). The politics, the alliances, the magic—I could not get enough. 🐉✨
I won’t get into spoilers, but let’s just say…I have some beef with Mrs. Yarros. 👀 (You’ll know when you know, and YES, I’m still reeling.) I can already see how this one might divide readers, but for me? It was everything I could’ve wanted and more.
A storm is definitely brewing, and I’m terrified for what’s next—but also ready to devour it. Highly recommend picking this one up ASAP. Just…brace yourselves. 🖤
