Not only was this book boring, but the fmc sucked. She did go through something terrible, but instead of going to therapy or trying to work through it at all in the year after it happened, she then decides to drag the poor mmc into it and jerk him around. I really liked him, but she did not deserve him and I didn’t believe their connection at all. He should have given up well before he did. I don’t understand how

he was the one to do a big romantic gesture (that was dumb and bad) to get her back when she broke up with him

. All conflict in this book was super repetitive and was just the fmc not wanting to trust the mmc, crying to her friend about it, her friend telling her to give him a chance, and then her going back to him. Overall, wish I had skipped this.
