I would say this book is a mystery with social horror. It was ok, interesting, and very tense. I gave it a 3 star because I expected more from it; and even though I don't mind ambiguous endings, this book was very dissatisfying. It wasn't a bad book. I would be very careful recommending this book. If you don't like ambiguous endings or just ambiguity throughout a book, I don't recommend.
